OTET:Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test

OTET is for Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2020. Odisha government conducts OTET for check the eligibility of upcoming teachers. So Board Of secondary Education Odisha conducts OTET 2020 in term of PAPER-I and PAPER-II. It is clear that OTET is just only for eligibility criteria not for appointment. If someone cleared OTET 2020 than he/she will be eligible to apply for Teacher Job in Odisha. Paper I qualified can apply for Class I to Class V and who qualified Paper II can applied for Class VI to Class VIII.All candidates who have cleared XII or graduation with 50% marks (SC/ST 45%) and completed or pursuing final year study in Diploma in Elementary Education of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)  are eligible to apply for the OTET 2020 test.

OTET 2020 is combined of two categories. Category A and Category B. Category A for primary classes I to V and Category B for classes VI to VIII.

Paper I :  Those who have completed XII in any stream and completed Diploma in Education can apply for OTET 2020 Paper I.

Paper II : Those who have completed graduation in any stream and completed Bachelor Diploma in Education can apply for OTET 2020 Paper II.

Graduate and Diploma in Education (D.El.Ed/B.Ed) can apply for both  OTET 2020 Paper I & Paper II.

How to apply OTET 2020 Application Form:

Before proceeds to OTET 2020 online application form must read the official notification, ensure all the updates and have your all documents. Once application is submitted no changes or edit can be done and also one application for one candidate so please fills the OTET 2020 online application form carefully.

Points to be focus before Online application form.

Eligibility criteria: Must read the eligibility criteria for OTET 2020 application form. Your degree details, percentage, MIL Odia upto ME class level and others.

Educational qualification: Educational qualification is different for different paper so please ensure that you fill the entire requirement for the selected paper and then apply. For example you have a scored or 42% marks in graduation and completed Diploma in Elementary education than you are not eligible for both paper. Because you don’t meet the requirement for Paper II. So be sure before apply the OTET 2020 online application form.

Address: Address is the most important point as your name and educational qualification, because Bse Odisha deliver your qualifying certificate at your doorstep. So fill your correct address details.

Declaration: On the declaration page, entire information entered by the applicant is going to be displayed. Candidates are instructed to check the data completely and click on the “Yes Final Submit” button if the info is correct. Simply just in case any entered data is wrong, candidates can go back to previous sections and edit. However, once the final submission of the form, no can be edited.

OTET 2020 Online Application Fees:

OTET 2020 Examination will be done through offline mode.
 so the application fee will be as following..

General/OBC Candidates	Rs 500
SC/ ST Candidates	Rs 300

OTET 2020 Required Eligibility:

However OTET 2020 conducting Paper I and Paper II, the educational qualification will be same as before. No changes has been done in educational qualification for OTET 2020 application.

The candidates have the qualifying marks and degree is eligible to apply for OTET 2020. They must have read Odia as a subject till ME standard examination.
Category-A (Paper- I):
Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT). OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and a 2 year diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
Graduation and a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education/ 2 year diploma in education.

*for SC/ST candidates 45% marks will be qualifying marks

Category-B (Paper-II):
Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks and 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). OR
Graduation with 50% marks and 2 year B.Ed.(Special Education). OR
Higher Secondary (+2 or it’s equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks and 4 year B.A.Ed./ B.Sc.Ed.
Provided that relaxation 50% minimum qualifying marks in +2 or graduation level, because the case could also be, shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/ SEBC class.

Graduate and Diploma in Education (D.El.Ed/B.Ed) can apply for both  OTET 2020 Paper I & Paper II.

OTET 2020 Exam Pattern:

It is clear that OTET 2019 has been done in online mode and faced a lot of problems so Bse Odisha( Education Department of Odisha) declared that OTET 2020 examination will be in offline mode.

OTET Admit Card 2020:

Candidates who have applied/applying for OTET 2020 are instructed to visit this site regularly for updates of OTET 2020. Because Bse Odisha conducts the exam as soon the admit card released. Keep preparing and visit regularly for OTET Admitcard 2020. It is expected that OTET admit card 2020 is to be released on 1^st week of June.

OTET 2020 Score Key:

OTET answer sheet along with OMR answer sheets are uploaded by BSE Odisha on its official web site after the written test is conducted as per the prescribed schedule. Candidates can check the answer key by clicking on the link present on the official web site of BSE Odisha. In case, an applicant has any objections with relation to queries or answers, he/ she will be able to submit it to the board among the stipulated date and time. “No objection shall be entertained after the date,” informs the official web site. The fee for challenging one response in the OTET answer key is Rs 500 five hundred. If any changes are made in answer key by the board after the raise of objections, final answer keys for OTET test are discharged.

OTET 2020 Exam Result:

OTET is going to declared the result as soon as possible after completion of the examination. As predicted OTET 2020 Exam result will be declared on 2^nd week of July. OTET exam results comes after final answer keys uploaded.

The validity of OTET Certificate:
The validity of OTET Certificate is for 7 years. Every candidate have their OTET qualifying certificate and it’s valid up to seven year from the date of declaration results.
